Hello, wonderful world of blogging.  It’s been quite a while.  Though I don’t know you, and I have wondered who you are, I am grateful that you were curious enough to open my blog and join me for this post.  Many more will be coming, and I hope that you know that you are welcome to read along. 

At this moment, I find myself in a quiet house as my precious baby boys are snuggled up and napping this Sabbath afternoon.  It has been by far the most gorgeous winter day to date with all old snow washed away in the rain yesterday and a fresh, thick and powerdery blanket of snow covering everything outside.  My slice of homemade cheese-herb bread and rich hot chocolate (the mix was a precious Christmas gift from a dear friend) have been enjoyed for an afternoon snack, and my fir & firewood candle is crackling nearby. 

Through this blog I want to share my heart, some simple insight on [random] topics and my life.  I feel the most alive when I am filled up and when I am pouring out.  This life is not my own, so I don’t want to let any more life pass me by without sharing some of it with you, my friend.
